Flixton Girls’ High School is an 11 – 16 all ability Specialist Sports College within the high performing, selective borough of Trafford. Part Time (0.4 fte) PE & Sport Teacher
Temporary 1 year contract from 1st September 2010
 
As Flixton Girls High School enters the 4th year of sports specialism there is an opportunity to recruit a new member of staff to this crucial temporary/part-time position. 
 
We wish to appoint an innovative, inspirational teacher for the PE & Sport Faculty. The post encompasses all aspects of ensuring the delivery of high quality teaching and learning in PE and of course the wider context of sport. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Specialist Sports College.

Science Teacher
Temporary 1 year contract from 1st September 2010

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of Science who can contribute to the development of the department.  The post is initially for one year.

The successful candidate will :

• have effective teaching, learning and student achievement at the core of your educational philosophy and practice.
• have a vision for maximising student achievement in all its forms
• have the ability to contribute ideas to a team of experienced teachers
• be ambitious for yourself, your students, your colleagues and your school
