Uniform Shop

There is a wealth of national research that links students wearing uniforms to raised standards, and improved behaviour and discipline within schools, something that Flixton Girls’ High School are strong believers of.

The uniform policy will be rigorously enforced in September.  Parents should ensure that their daughter is dressed correctly with all compulsory items and that her uniform is clean and tidy. 

A reminder that any coat worn on the way to and from school should conform to requirements. Hoodie tops and sweatshirts are banned.

If parents require any help at all in providing the correct uniform they should contact the finance office to see how the school may support.

Introduction
• We are the sole suppliers for all uniform items that bear the school logo.
(See list of compulsory and optional items.)
• This is done to keep down the costs for parents.
• During term time the uniform shop is open from 3.00 to 4.00 every Wednesday.
• Order forms are available from the school office.
• Uniform can be ordered at any time of year, not just in July/September.

Process for new year 7 intake
• During June the shop will be open for several sessions on Saturdays and certain weekday evenings specifically for new students to be able to try on and order uniform.
• Payment is required at the time of ordering.
• For anyone who cannot attend any of these sessions there will also be a measuring up session on the Year 7 induction day in early July. Forms will be sent home with the girls and parents can bring orders back with payment at the parents’ induction meeting or send them into school before the deadline in mid-July.
• Uniform will be available for collection on two Saturday mornings during August or alternatively just before term starts in September.

Payment can be made be made by either cash or cheque at the time of ordering.  We are also now able to accept debit/credit card payments via our online payment system Parentpay.  You may register for parent pay (finance@flixtongirls.trafford.sch.uk) or if you are already registered, please log on and choose this option.
